Spencer is a seasoned communications leader based in Ottawa and originally from Durham Region, Spencer brings nearly a decade of experience in digital engagement, brand storytelling, and media strategy. He previously led athletic communications at the University of Ottawa for eight years and consulted with the Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League.

His work has earned national and international recognition, including College Sports Communicators’ “30 Under 30” and multiple OUA CHAMP Awards for excellence in communications and marketing. General aviation is familiar territory for Spencer, having spent countless hours in the air and at airports across Ontario with his father, a longtime COPA member and pilot.
