Westlock Flying Club Recurrent Training Program (Rust Remover)

Event description: Join us on May 9, 2026 for our biennial Rust Remover. This qualifies as a Pilot Recurrent Training Program under CAR 421.05(2)(c) for your 2 year currency renewal. Presenters include specialist from Nav Canada, Transport Canada, Environment Canada and more .The cost is $35, and includes lunch.

COPA Flight 44- Surviving CO Poisoning while Airborne Seminar

Event description:COPA Flight 44 welcomes certified flight instructor Dan Bass, who will share his remarkable survival story after losing consciousness from carbon monoxide poisoning during a 2017 flight to Thunder Bay and crash‑landing in a farmer’s field. Drawing on his experience “cheating death,” Dan will highlight key lessons and simple precautions every pilot should know to prevent CO exposure in the cockpit. A lifelong aviator with over 2,500 flight hours, Dan operates Mec‑Pro Mfg in Winona, Minnesota, and continues to fly actively while upgrading his Mooney M20K.

Poker Run First Canadian Chapter Ninety Nines

Event description:Fly to three or more participating airports (Oshawa, Lindsay, Midland, Collingwood, Brampton, Brantford, or Edenvale) to collect your cards, then hand them in at the Terminus at Edenvale Airport. COPA Flight 70-North Port Seagrave Annual Ski/Wheel Fly-In
