The COPA Freedom to Fly Fund (FFF) is a dedicated fund that supports initiatives to protect, promote, and advance the rights of general aviation in Canada.
Established to meet the growing need for advocacy and legal support, the FFF empowers COPA to act swiftly and decisively in response to threats affecting general aviation access, infrastructure, and freedoms.
What the Fund Supports:
As per its Objects of Incorporation, the FFF exists to:
- Educate the public, lawmakers, and government departments on issues impacting general aviation
- Initiate and support litigation including class actions, to defend general aviation rights
- Support COPA’s mission and related activities aligned with these objectives
- Undertake other initiatives consistent with the above purposes
From runway closures and land use restrictions to regulatory overreach and noise complaints, the FFF ensures Canadian pilots and aircraft owners have a strong, united voice when it matters most.
