Certified aircraft in Canada are manufactured aircraft that are required to conform to strict standards mandated by Transport Canada. The Canadian fleet of certified aircraft consists of airplanes, helicopters, and gliders. Ballons, gyroplanes, and ultralights cannot be certified in Canada.
