Tony Swain, a long-time COPA member, past Director for the BC and Yukon region, and frequent contributor to ‘COPA Flight’ passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 90. COPA celebrates Tony’s legacy as one of community, cooperation, and kindness. Aviation has been a part of Kathryn’s life since before she was born. With her parents working for Pratt & Whitney Canada for their entire career, her father started in 1966 as a test Engineer for the PT6 engine and by the 1990’s was Chief of Metallurgical and Chemical Processing.
