Keeping Canadian aviation alive and well - I am writing this just after returning from Oshkosh AirVenture 2010 and my brain is overloaded with aviation stuff.I never cease to be amazed at the incredible variety of aircraft and gismos that show up there.

Another milestone for Banff, Jasper airstrips - Another milestone has been reached in the process of securing the Banff and Jasper airstrips. I expected everything to be completed and in place by now, but progress in government agencies is often painfully slow.

Aviating By Any Other Name… - Recently had an opportunity to go for my first hot air balloon ride. Although I frequently gaze skyward to watch balloons lazily drift past my place on the east side of Calgary, a hot-spot for ballooning, I have never made the effort to experience this form of aviating.
Voler D'une Autre Maniere - J ’ai récemment eu l’opportunité d’aller prendre mon premier tour de montgolfière. Même si je regarde fréquemment dans le ciel pour voir passer des montgolfières qui dérivent lentement autour de ma maison du côté est de Calgary, un point chaud pour ce genre de sport, je n’ai jamais fait l’effort d’aller essayer ce genre de vol.

It’s election time again for the COPA Board of Directors - You might be thinking, “Didn’t we just have an election?”, but that was two years ago. Every two years we hold an election for half of the Board of Director seats so there is overlap and continuity on the Board.
De nouveau le temps des élections au Conseil d'administration COPA - Vous pensez probablement, "Ne vient-on pas tout juste d'avoir une élection?", mais c'était il y a deux ans déjà. Tous les deux ans, nous tenons une élection pour la moitié des sièges au Conseil d'administration afin qu'il y ait une couverture et une continuité au Conseil.

Looking into the future of GA - As we leave 2009 and the hundredth anniversary of powered flight in Canada we should give some thought to the future of Personal Aviation.
